The music of Rhythm Planet draws from Afro-Caribbean, African, and diasporic rhythmic traditions of Congo Square and across the globe, bridging cultural continuity with contemporary composition.
Seamless Sync and Cultural Integrity
Rhythm Planet is founded and led by composer, percussionist, bandleader, and filmmaker Jeff Klein, whose work spans travel and collaboration across Africa, the Caribbean, South America, Asia, and the United States. He has led and performed with ensembles including Cuba Heat, Africa Brass, and Kora Konnection, and develops music-centered projects focused on community connection and intergenerational exchange.
The catalog supports live performance, visual media, and interdisciplinary projects, emphasizing depth, authorship, and long-term collaboration over trends or volume. In addition to live performance and composition, Rhythm Planet creates original music for visual media.
